Design Concept

Inspired by Buddhism and features a snake coiled around an advancing Dharma Wheel. The Dharma Wheel appears in polish from the front with a concave back. The inscribed interior features eight auspicious totems: a Buddhist conch, Dharma Wheel, precious umbrella, victory banner, lotus, treasure vase, goldfish, and infinite knot to represent eight types of blessings. The center of the Dharma Wheel and exterior round are covered in lotus petals.  The exterior round is also inscribed with an auspicious cloud motif to symbolize auspiciousness, happiness and fulfillment.  The snake’s body wraps tightly around the auspicious Dharma Wheel to encapsulate luck and fortune.

Sculpturally, the scales on the snake’s head and tail are clearly visible and naturalistic. The area where it joins with the snake appears in polish. Inlaid cubic zirconia form the snake’s eyes that appear to be on the lookout for opportunity.
